Size: 15 x 15 cm ( 5.9 x 5.9 in)

These little flowers called bleeding hearts were the first greeting of spring in my garden this year. I have captured two of hundreds of these wonderful blossoms with oil paint on a wooden panel.

Materials

Oil on wood panel, depth 3 cm (1.2 in). The sides of the artwork are painted green, so it can be displayed with or without a frame. The final work is signed on front and back . It is finished with a clear satin varnish to protect the work for years of enjoyment.
