This painting features a close-up of a Tiger Longwing Butterfly on a green leaf. This beautiful butterfly is native to Central and South America. It has a wingspan of 7-9 cm.

The artwork includes a black floating frame made of wood. It is ready to hang.

The artwork was a finalist in the Open Art Competition 2023 of the Art Unlimited The Gallery / UK and was exhibited from 16th – 28th September at the Art Café Bridport Art Centre and at the Art Unlimited The Gallery in Britport.

Materials

Oil on gesso board. The final work is signed on front and back . It is finished with a clear satin varnish to protect the work for years of enjoyment. Hanging hardware is attached on the back - ready to hang. Includes a certificate of Authenticity.
